Slow Down. Look Up. Be Grateful.

It is so powerful and uplifting when you practice thankfulness. Every morning I write all the things that I am grateful for that happened the previous day and then all the things I have on my mind for the day. I spend a few minutes every morning thanking God for the small to big things that happen. I often thank God for: health, breathe, eyesight, legs that work, food to eat, healing of my heart, my family, pain, difficult times, His provision in everything, great sleep, the opportunity to love people, living on an island, a simple life, etc.  I find great joy in looking through the past year of my gratitude and seeing how many blessings I have.

Remember to practice this:   slow down, look up and be grateful. There are reasons for gratefulness all around you.
