Day 4 of Jumping

Another post from my mama! Jumping today was not jumping. It was more like cruising. We were cruising down the freeway before dawn. It was beautiful. And then, there was traffic. Yes, there… Continue reading

Day 2 of Jumping

Here is my mama writing this post: Moving to FL has been on my heart for almost 2 years. I had many doubts. Wondered how it would work. As I waited on God,… Continue reading

Dream. Wait. Hope. Jump.

I haven’t written on here for over 5 months and I have no reason other than I just wasn’t compelled to write anything and I didn’t want to force it. So, with that… Continue reading

Timing is Everything. Especially God’s Timing.

In September of 2009, I went out to my dad’s to spend some quality time alone and with God. My dad and step-mom live on a beautiful farm in Arlington and I knew… Continue reading

Autopilot Living

Lately, it has come to my attention that I have been on autopilot of daily life…again. You know those moments in life where you recognize that you are just going through a routine… Continue reading

Normalcy. Unhappy. Risk.

Have you ever felt like you were on the edge of a cliff and you couldn’t see what was below you? Not literally, but the felling of it. You have butterflies in your… Continue reading

Is this Heavenly or what?

  • A Little About Me

My name is Jill. I’m a writer, deep thinker and on a quest to BE PRESENT and BE LOVE. I’m an ex-churchgoer. I’ve lived in 27 different places in my life. I was once an island dweller and I’ve been a pioneer in a handful of start-up organizations in the USA, Switzerland, and Honduras. Oh and I should mention that I was a real 40-yr-old virgin  when I came out. I hope to validate others experiences in abusive churches by sharing my stories and truths. I want you to leave here thinking differently and honoring that still small voice within you.
