Day 7 of Jumping

Check out our first 6 posts, starting here!
Today was our new longest day: 546 miles. From Las Cruces, New Mexico to Kerrville, Texas. It was a stunning day in the beautiful sunshine!
We are also staying at the coolest hotel we’ve stayed at since we left Washington state. By the way, we don’t know where we are going to stay every night until about an hour before we hit the destination town. We usually start checking out hotels around 3:30 pm and plan to go another 2 hours before arriving in our hotel. This afternoon my mom called a few hotels in the town of Kerrville only to find they both were fully booked. She inquired what was going on in town and they said that there was a Civil War reenactment going on in one of the nearby cities.
I didn’t want to give up on finding a hotel in Kerrville, so I checked one last time and found Y O Ranch and Resort, which is the most ornate, original hotel we have been in! We checked in, brought our luggage to the room and headed to the bar for some dinner. Not only did we get dinner, but we put 4 quarters in the pool table and played a few rounds of pool AND played a few songs on the jukebox!
It is so fun to see my mom laugh and be free to live fully!
Again, here are our daily images of roadtripping and we hope you had a beautiful day wherever you were and whatever you were doing! Life is a beautiful canvas and each morning you get to paint it!
