Tuk-tuk taxi’s
Tuk-tuk’s are one of the major forms of transportation within Antigua, Guatemala and many other parts of Central America. In my time in Antigua, I wanted to walk everywhere because the town is beautiful and you are able to see more on foot. However, I did observe the tuk-tuk experience quite close as they flew by me on my walking adventures. They always seemed to be full-speed ahead and rarely swerved to avoid big holes in the cobblestone streets. You can always hear a tuk-tuk coming because their little frame rattled as if it was going to fall apart on those streets of Antigua.
I’m curious about the service life of a tuk-tuk in Antigua. I would think they would rattle apart in no time. Nice picture!

They have these in India, too. They’re yellow and called auto rickshaws, or “autos” for short.
